Thomas Barry

Thomas Barry is the founder and Chief Executive officer of Zephyr Management LP and the Founder/Chairman of the South Africa Capital Growth Fund. He has had over 25 years' experience in investment management, including 13 years with T. Rowe Price, in various senior capacities, and 11 years as Chief Executive Officer of Rockefeller & Co. Tom formed and /or managed ownership interests in private equity investment companies deploying US capital in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Argentina, and the Sub-Saharan African region, amongst others. Recently Zephyr has initiated funds in Korea, Mexico and South America as well as establishing a US-based fund specializing in distressed municipal bonds and related securities. His qualifications include Chartered Financial Analyst, Harvard MBA and an under graduate degree from Yale University.
